SCOPE OF WORK:

ORG 076 –Harold W. Lang Sr. Middle School - Project consists of the following:

1. Security infrastructure for new cameras and door access hardware.

2. Renovating the front entry and front of house of admin office to create a secure front vestibule.

3. Removing and replacing all failing waterproofing sealant at all tilt up concrete control joints and expansion joints.

4. Installing directional pavement arrows and signage for parent drop off and pick up loop as well as crosswalks.

5. Removal and replacement of fire alarm panel and all components throughout campus.

6. Installing new exterior lighting controls. Removing existing non-LED light pole fixtures and replacing them with new LED fixtures while using existing pole and electrical connections. Replacing existing under canopy non-LED exterior light fixtures and wall packs for the whole campus.

7. Scope includes new split systems along with all components for the IDF/MDF air conditioning. Would include roof work at the location of exterior condensing units.

8. Add Alternate – Removing existing non-digital marquee and installing new digital marquee. Scope would include a new foundation, masonry, sign, electrical, and landscape repair.

10. Add Alternate – Removing and replacing existing exterior hose bibs.

11. Add Alternate – Removing the existing failing sunken concrete paving, backfilling, and installing new reinforced concrete paving.

12. Add Alternate – Replacing an existing hollow metal door with new hollow metal door and no access hardware,

BUDGET:
Total Estimated Construction Budget (CCL + Allowances) for CSP 207600 $1,033,173.79

PRE-BID & LOCATION:
A pre-proposal meeting will be held on 11/19/2024 at 10AM via Zoom for all interested parties. This meeting is not mandatory, but information discussed will be extremely helpful in preparation of the proposal.

All general contractors and sub-contractors are encouraged to attend this meeting. Contractors will meet A/E(s) and PM at each school to start site tours. The first site tour will take place immediately following the pre-proposal conference. The following is the schedule for all site tours:

All Construction Services construction procurements must be physically delivered to the Construction Services office, at the Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231. (Call 972.925.7200 for directions). Delivery to other locations will result in rejection of a CSP.

Completed CSP Package Part 1-A, 1-B and 1-C are due on Thursday, 12/19/2024 at 2:00 PM (local time).

Completed CSP Package Part 2 is due on Friday, 12/20/2024 at 3:00 PM (local time).

Any materials received after the respective closing dates / times will not be considered.

The District will open and read the names of the proposers and prices submitted in responsive CSPs beginning at 3:00 P.M. local time upon submittal of Part 2 of the Package, at Dallas ISD Construction Services, Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231.
